Our Process

The Canter five-step process handles all aspects of the decommissioning process.

Isolate:

  • Within 48 hours and depending on POC availability, engage w/end user over phone, email, in person
  • Discuss Financial outcome goals
  • Discuss Environmental outcome goals

Identify:

  • Resale
  • Scrap
  • Donation

Inform:

  • POC – Site
  • POC – Regional Manager
  • Floor plan (if available) with photos of space along with the following: photos, description of space, number of workstations, private offices, square footage, floor number, loading dock, elevator size
  • Timing of decommission

Integrate:

Schedule a meeting with CL stakeholders with Canter Team (Amber/Carl) to review all information above and then set up timing/site visit with a trusted Intermarket partner to deliver a great Canter Experience from decommissioning a space to implementing new FF&E to same or different location.

Inventory:

Our Partners

In most cases, Canter will coordinate a decommission strategy within 72 hours of initial contact. We work closely with our national partners to ensure a smooth and timely decommission process.
