Samantha Wilson
Designer
Born in California but raised in Colorado, Samantha began her education at Colorado State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Junior year of her undergrad she studied abroad and attended Auckland University of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand. There, she partook in a spatial design internship opportunity that allowed her to live, study and work abroad for 6 months. This was her first airplane ride – go big or go home is the saying, right?
Her design exposure ranges from facilities management to office and retail design to now an all-encompassing corporate and higher education background here at Canter. As the Director of Design for Canter, Samantha contributes her design expertise by guiding our clients to the most functional, efficient, and aesthetically appealing environments – all the while, considering budget and providing value engineered options when necessary.
Outside of the workplace, family means the most to her but when she must have her head in the game as our Director of Design, have no fear, she can handle it! Having a toddler on conference calls always lends to an entertaining and light-hearted conversation and it lends a nice laugh. She always has some kind of joke in her pocket and enjoys that she has an extended family with her at work, too!
